Moore, JP. It very well could be your Margaret Jane is d/o Enoch Monroe HAYS & Margaret CARNEY. Their daughter Margaret is the only one of their children I have nothing about. If she is their daughter, she would have been born in Crawford Co AR which is where the family lived when she was born. Prior to that, they were in Washington Co AR when James Arthur HAYS was b 16 Dec 1837. They moved to Arkansas from Jefferson Co TN where they are listed in the 1830 census living next door to Margaret's parents, Arthur CARNEY & Mary WHITE.
