Changed name to Highsaw. Highsaw family in Shenandoah Valley, Augusta County, Virginia and nearby from about 1750...then Fredrick Highsaw in Burk Co., NC; then Henry Hisaw in S. Carolina....Has anyone with HAYSE ever heard a story of this sort? I have never found the Highsaw name earlier than this, nor in any other country of the world, on Internet, etc., so am beginning to think this story of HAYSE may be correct. Any help appreciated.
