Also a girl living with them , Evaline Swincher b. abt. 1856 in Ind. These people are in the June 20, 1870 census in Westfield Twp. Clark Co. IL. I am trying to find out where they came from and where they went, but mainly want to know why Evaline was with them and about her background as well. Evaline was my grt. grt. grandmother. She later married Alonzo Stith in Coles Co.IL. in 1875. Does anyone know these Hays'? Any help will be greatfully appreciated. Diane
