However, my Rebecca already had five children and had been once widowed by the time yours was born. My Rebecca and John Hays, her second husband, moved to the Nashville area and died in Wilson Co. Rebecca's first husband was Capt. Thomas Maxwell, and they had two daughters, Mary and Sarah, my ancestor. Then, she and John Hays had Harmon A. (father of Capt. Jack), Ann, Rachel S., and Thomas Thompson. We know quite a bit about Rebecca except her maiden name and parents. Good luck on yours!
