Hays (19), Henry Hays (16), another child (13), elizabeth (9), Thomas (6), James (4), Mary P (4/12), and Alexander (14). Henry is listed as from NC and wife from Virginia. The 1840 census also lists Henry at Cannon County TN but the 1860 Census lists the family as moving the Arkansas - without my great grandfather - Alexander. He was in the confederate forces.
