(Coffee) Hays, Capt. Jack who was born 1817 in Tennessee. I have found some old letters from 1964 where a relative, now deceased, was telling family history to another relative, now deceased. She says the Anna Caldwell was the Mother of John C Hays, she was suppedly married to a Hays who was a gambler and got shot. I found that John C's father was Harmon Hays, but can't connect these people. Help!!!!
