Hugh Hays name is mentioned in the Schyler Co., IL archives (Early 1st Settlers) helping his in-laws to moved there before returning to Wilson Co., TN. Hugh was also mentioned in the Will of William Williams. You may consider contacting Bill Grimm, Rocknchair@chartertn.net... whom may have further information, he mentions Hugh's parents as Samuel Hays and Elizabeth Brawford including earlier ancestors.
