However, my Rebecca already had five children and had been once widowed by the time yours was born. My Rebecca and John Hays, her second husband, moved to the Nashville area and died in Wilson Co. Rebecca's first husband was Capt. Thomas Maxwell, and they had two daughters, Mary and Sarah, my ancestor. Then, she and John Hays had Harmon A. (father of Capt. Jack), Ann, Rachel S., and Thomas Thompson. We know quite a bit about Rebecca except her maiden name and parents. Good luck on yours!

Surnames: Hays Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Xih.2ACEB/1511.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Patricia It seems to be a scam after all. None of my family here in Namibia or South Africa could recall relatives in Togo, and when I requested this " Barrister " to send me birth dates and full names he just insisted on everything being legal and needed bank details from me. I never replied again, and my internet search placed him under Nigerian scams. You won't believe all the scam-mails I received after that one. And me being so gullable to believe and trust people , I almost fell for the joke. Someone also sent me a mail to warn me to stay off the rootsweb website as the feds investigate the scams going on there. Enjoy your Easter. Charlotte Hays
