    2. Has anyone ever heard of Abel Hayden ~ a fisherman living in Glouster MA. 1775? I have been at this for so long ~ I think he married into the Thayer family~ Dolores Hayden Stimson.

August 18, 1765 in Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts2, and died June 08, 1834 in Boston, Massachusetts3. Notes for ABEL HAYDEN: “Genealogies Of the Families of Braintree, Mass. 1640-1850” Including the modern towns of Randolph & Holbrook and the city of Quincy, after the separation from Braintree in 1792-3. All families recorded before 1800 are listed and continued to 1850 or later, and nearly all families who came into these towns between 1800 and 1840 are also included. Lydia wife of Abel Hayden baptized at Quincy Jun. 4, 1796 & children Elizabeth & George Niles bapt. Nov. 5, 1797. Resided in the Baxter - Nightingale house Temple St. near Washington St. Quincy. He was a Revolutionary Soldier. She had a pension. Children of Abel & Lydia born at Quincy: i. Nancy, Jul. 23, 1793 (sic), died Apr.7, 1793 a. 8mo. (sic) ii. Elizabeth, Feb. 13, 1794 (sic), m. Sep. 14, 1817 at Quincy, William Furnald. iii. George Niles, Oct. 28, 1796, m. Prudence Snelling. He died 1863 (over) iv. Mehitable, Jul. 5, 1800, died Sep. 19, 1801 a. 13mo. v.
