    3. Hi all, Further to my last message, I have a DNA I found while looking for the origins of de Heydon as Normans and possibly descended from William de Cardon [born about 1050] The modern Cardon DNA is R1b and in the first 10 numbers is identical to the Haydon DNA ref H005, and H004 is very close. At a quick glance H005 and H004 seem most likely to be descended from de Heydon, who must have been Norman by his position in society in the 1200's. A pity my DNA is no good, being I1a it seems likely that my male line came to England about 1400 years ago as Saxon invaders. Comments please, Regards Tony Hayden Burgess
