John Hayden 18 Apr. 1838, Miegs, died 1849 in Syracue, Meigs, Ohio and then Fannie. Her Father John as I know had 3 brothers, Archibald Hayden, Born 1812 William Hayden, Born 1813 And George Washington Hayden, Born 1822 in PA. This George Washington Hyaden is my GGGrandfather. There was 3 of them so we called them GW1, GW2, and GW3. The thired is my Fathers, Father. This is as far as I know, some of my people say that Johns dad was a Richard P. Hayden, b 1780 in PA and that he married a Chtherine Quiclie on 17 Apr. 1800 in West Bath WVA. I have done the Hayden DNA but with no luck as to even being put into a group, so I hit that brick wall. Maybe someone out there can see something I don't or know something more. George.
Hey All, I'm posting the following message for Peg. She tried posting it herself but doesn't think it worked. Lauren Peg Wrote: I have been reading the recent flurry of messages looking for a tie to my Hayden branch. My line descends from William Hayden who arrived on the Mary and John. They lived briefly in Dorchester MA then went to found Windsor CT. William had only three children but all the male heirs in my line had six or more, mostly male. In the 1700's Augustine settled in Torringford CT and had fifteen children, his youngest son Cicero had eight so there are lots of Haydens out there but I have not been able to find any of my "cousins". My great-aunt was a collector of family history so I have pictures of Cicero, his wife, Sophia Squires, and many of their children which I would like to share. Also have family stories from before the Civil War. If this rings a bell with anyone, get in touch. Thanks, Peg
Can someone search for information on Harry Ulysses Hayden (1861-1933). He had a son named Thomas Haynes Hayden. He had either a daughter or sister named Helen Hayden Anthony. What I want to know is the relationship between Helen and Ulysses, my notes are confusing. Also who his wife or the mother of his children was. Lauren
I've put the records of the line of Nehemiah Hayden, born Oct. 27th 1798. He married Harriet Kitchel (born April 30 1802) on Oct. 24th 1820. The work on the site was complied by one of his grandsons Thuel Hayden. Thuel was born Feb 11 1880 and married Minnie Shirley on Sept 4 1900. http://www.ibejones.com/Hayden/photocpy.htm Sorry, but their is no index of names so you just have to search the different image files to see what you can find. Of course I'll try to respond to any email questions I get. Ernie
