George, I am the Sputnik you pass in orbit. Ha Ha. I have a William Headen that died in Jackson County Ga. in 1808? I think. The point is I can't get answers from any one when I ask my tired old question. This William Headen according to many on the list was married to Jane Little. According to my husbands family Jane Little was married to Robert Beavers, the father of Reubin Beavers who married one of this Williams Headen's granddaughters. I would love to know which is correct. The two families traveled together from Virginia to Georgia and some of the two families traveled on to Louisiana by 1811. I probably would be just like you and not have a DNA match either. I don't know any Hayden males in my line that I could ask to be tested.
