Jason--- Just had to let you know you are not alone in your dead end! My brother and I are both in our 40's and the last in our direct Hayden line. I learned in the last year that my gg-grandfather was raised by his mother and her parents, taking on the mother's maiden name as his surname. So, the male Haydens I did trace, and my Hayden relatives of today would have had a different last name had things gone "normally"----so my brother's dna wouldn't do any good, either. Alas. -A Connecticut Hayden with ties to Kentucky and Michigan -Original Message----- >From: Jason Haydon <jdhaydon@yahoo.com> >Sent: Sep 9, 2007 5:09 PM >To: hayden@rootsweb.com >Subject: Re: [HAYDEN] Desperation... > >Hi, can't wouldn't do any good.
