Hi Kent, So far, I don't have complete records on the HAYDEN/THAYER side by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm working on it! The person who shared this info with me, goes directly back to Thomas HAYDEN b 1534 Ebford,Ottery St Mary,Devon,England d 1589 in Devon, England. Some of the families have only one child listed, others have several. If you ever take your tree this far back, find a match, and would like to share info, please feel free to get back in touch! This offer is extended to anyone who feels their tree is a match! My sincere gratitude to all who have shared their family tree information freely. Several Clement Haydens can be traced backed to Thomas DeHeydon 1185-1250. Though they didn't all stay there, a group migrated from Braintree, Massachusetts to Raymond, Maine, leaving a number of Haydens in the Raymond Village Cemetery there. Thankfully, that cemetery has been indexed and is online. These are given names of Haydens buried there: (earliest burial is 1818) Abigail, Charles, Charlotte, Clara, Edward, Eliza, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Eugene, Gardiner, Gertrude, Gideon, Ida, J Irving, Jeremiah (1818, not 1848), Jeremiah, John, John, John, Lillian, Lourett, Mahlon, Margaret, Minerva, William, Gideon. In that same cemetery you will find even more Davis, some later Aldens, many Plummer. Inscriptions on the stones are also recorded. It is a treasure for family members in this line. "This cemetery was transcribed by Mr. and Mrs. Dana Cobb of East Raymond in December of 1999." Our thanks go to them. Barbara Holman
