    3. George, It's amazing, with so much Hayden information availableto be able to slip through the cracks is really something! It is remarkable that your Hayden DNA doesn't match up at all. You must be from a thoroughly different Hayden line completely. Hope you find your line! John partners@houseofhayden.com wrote: John and Linda, Know just what and how you feel. I even did the Hayden DNA and was told that I don't match Hayden. I guess I started my own Hayden with just me. 3. Don't know if it is helpful or not, but his World War I draft registration states he was born in Worthington which is Hampshire County, not Springfield. This might give another area to look at least. The 1880 census for Worthington, has a Fanny A. Hayden, age 49 and she is listed as married but no husband is listed with her. Next door is a William H., age 26 and wife Ella A. age 22. They have no children. Wish there were more positive results but that is what makes it a challenge. 2. The John Hayden/Susanna Pullen marriage is the 17th generation down from Thomas DeHeydon, 1185-1250. I believe this is on www.familysearch.org. My line continues to descend down to Dr. Clement Hayden 1811-1885, from Braintree, MA then Gray, Maine to Mayesville, Arkansas. We then continue from his daughter, Mary Angeline Hayden who married Charlie Burgess, their daughter Nelle Burgess who married Arthur Claude Ellis, their daughter Elizabeth Ruth Ellis who married Harold Arthur Cook, and my self, a daughter of Ruth and Harold. I would love to correspond with cousins in my line. b.e.holman@att.net

His gg etc grandfather Nathaniel Thayer, 1657-1728, married Hannah Hayden, c 1660/61-1743, both born in Braintree, MA. I have contact with a cousin in CA, Yvonne, who is descended from John Hayden through Lot, and Nehemiah, I think. She also has documentation showing a Mayflower ancestry. Both her paper work and mine suggest that John's wife was Susannah Pullen. Write to her at _YWW4781@aol.com_ (mailto:YWW4781@aol.com) . Tell her Madora gave her name to you. Further, the line of Francis is likely separate from those of John and William to before the time of Thomas de Heydon. There is a small chance (16%) that the John and William share a common Hayden male ancestor since the time of Thomas de Heydon but several generations before emigration to America in the 17th century. He is in my 1st husband's line. 3. Jean, I trace back to Jonathan too and he was a descendent of John Hayden and Susanna Pullen. I have a book with a family tree but much is available online. I am attaching a link for Jonathan. Let me know if you want to know anything else. http://www.alden.org/aldengen/pafg541.htm#46104 Catherine (Grandmother was Amanda Ann Haydon) In a message dated 02/25/07 12:35:40 Central Standard Time, vrau@kc.rr.com writes: Interesting to read all this correspondence between you and Dashes1@aol.com. I trace my ancetors back to a Jonathan Hayden born 26/10/1749 in Morristown, NJ. He died at Haydentown, PA in Fayette County, PA 24/7/1836. Does this correspond with any of your records. I am a member of the DAR and these papers were accepted by them as factual. Would like to hear from you.
