Hi Laura, No Ira Hayden shows up in my info. A huge chunk of Haydens left MD for Ohio, and my branch ended up in Chambersburg, Franklin Co., Pa. If he shows up I will certainly let you know. Good luck! BTW, I got my DNA tested and it has really opened things up where I had dead ends before! Regards, Tom --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Hi Geoff, John Foley and Mary Cavanaugh had a daughter, Mary. She was baptized in a RC church in Vinegar Hill which was an area next to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Mary Cavanaugh was my great-aunt. Baptised: October 23, 1864, Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Brooklyn Sponsors: Patrick Hayden, Margaret Kavanagh Margaret Kavanagh was my great-grandmother. She did not marry Patrick Hayden. His name does not reoccur in any of my family records. There were two RC churches in the area, St. Ann's and Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Hope this helps, Mary Ann

I have to read through the Immigrant's Savings Bank Records that are at the NYC Public Library. If my family had opened an account with them, there will be information on where they came from. The bank kept detailed records of these immigrants so they could send money back to Ireland. My other hope is that someone on this site might be connected to me. Hi, Are there any Hayden lines that stem from Brooklyn, New York. I am looking for a Patrick Hayden that lived there in the 1800's and early 1900's, and was married three times and had lots of children. If you have any info or are connected, please write back. Thanks, Geoff Hayden
