    3. My own Haydens are Maryland-to-Kentucky Haydens, but to the best of my knowledge, the earliest documented New England Hayden was John Hayden who arrived in Dorchester, Massachusetts in 1632, moved to Braintree in 1639, and who died in Braintree sometime between 31 Oct 1678 (date of will) and February 1681 or 1682 (date of inventory). His origins are unknown. If anyone has any proof, or even strong circumstantial evidence, of Haydens arriving in New England earlier than that, I'm sure that genealogists and historians would very excited to hear about it. On Mon, Jun 25, 2018 at 8:21 PM E. 3. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought the first Hayden’s to America from England in 1630. Dwight, it you supply some more information on the names and dates you do have for those early Hayden’s I can take a look at what I know, as I’m sure others here may do as well. 1. [HAYDEN] Re: Haydens at Tipperary etc
    2. Hello, Dr. Hayden, I married a Hayden back in 1969, but since then the marriage has passed along, as well as my ex-husband. His father was from a line of Haydens located in Joseph, Oregon, possibly going back to Kentucky, but so far I don't have enough proof of the KY connection to feel it is solid . Even though I am no longer a married-Hayden, it is still my legal name, so I have been watching these messages, but essentially deleting them, as I am not aware (yet) of any Irish connection. The incentive to contact you is the name "Dwight". My late half-brother's name was Donald Lee Dwight (1922-2014). My mother's first marriage was to Don's father, Marcus Perkins Dwight (1904-1962). Marcus' father was Frank Depugh?/Depuis? Dwight, and Frank's father was Henry Dwight. My half brother Don, didn't research his Dwight's at all, and neither did his 2 sons (one of whom has passed away, also--and neither one had children), but Don always claimed that his Dwights were descendants of the Dwights of Dedham, Massachusetts. I have not researched this much at all, since no one is currently interested, but I am wanted to mention this as I am very interested in my own family's genealogy, and have been researching for over 20 years. I would be happy to share whatever I can (of either Dwight or Hayden), if you think this might be of interest to you. (I see your wife is a Sherry Hayden, too! ~~Hi, Sherry!) Sincerely, Sherry Steele Hayden Everett WA -----Original Message----- From: Dwight <mailgdh@gmail.com> To: hayden <hayden@rootsweb.com> Sent: Mon, Jun 25, 2018 3:07 pm Subject: [HAYDEN] Re: Haydens at Tipperary etc My ancestors came from Southwest England in 1620 landing near Boston so I don’t have any information on Haydens that came later. I have a marriage certificate and no other documentation. So for the last 27 years I have really not been able to pursue any research. However now that DNA is around things are starting to move. Fortunately I had my Mother tested a few weeks before she died in 2015 and the resulting matches >Pedigrees have sent me to Co. Clare in Ireland to pursue the CURRY, KEARNEY, and NEYLAN surnames and thence to Australia. So if any of you have HAYDEN in any of the above locations please contact me. Regards to you all Garry ;

    3. Hi Patricia, Thank you for offering a copy of the manuscript.  I'd also be interested in receiving a copy.
