She was an educator for many years at Thomas M. Cooley High School and she touched the lives of many. She is survived by a daughter Korynne, 27, three siblings, an aunt, and many dear friends. Arrangements are trusted to McFall Brothers Funeral Home and the funeral service will be held Wednesday July 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at New Way Christian Community Church located at 12735 Rosa Parks BLVD in Detroit Hatcher, John Paul Dec. 14, 2007 Died peacefully and with one last smile on December 7, 2007. John served as CEO of Seniors Unlimited and was a visionary in the travel industry, changing the lives of people he met along the way. Born to Alvis and Betty Hatcher on July 21, 1925 in Raleigh County, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his loving wife Susan Hatcher, daughter Cynthia (Michael) Prince, granddaughter Dawn (Allen) Kotcher, sisters Clara Mae Dozier and Betty Gonzalez and brother Alvis Grover Hatcher, Jr. John was a friend to many and a good man who loved a fine cigar. He will be missed by all. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Monument of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 378 Auburn Ave., Pontiac. It was John's wish not to have a visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Monument of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
