Nel: Do you know if this is MY Ebenezer (father of Annie)? Dang, I wish we had someone in our family who could be tested! Oh well... Keep up the good work! HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood Good morning, cuzins! Yesterday we rec'd results for our NY Hatcher from England and we now have our 3rd tester matching the Kent, England family. This family came from Kent to NY, OH and WI. And you may not remember Ebenezer Hatcher of GA but his test results are very rare and for over at least 2 yrs has never had a match to anyone, regardless of surname.........until yesterday. This match is quite intriguing since Eben matched to a family out of Scituate, MA going back to the 1500s. Their surname? HATCH! I find this interesting because we have an unc Hatcher family that I've tracked back to MD to a Thomas Hatcher bn bef 1683 whose name in the records is as often Hatch as it is Hatcher. His father may have been a John Hatch bn bef 1634 whose records are consistently spelled Hatch. One descendant, if my research is correct, is a John Hatcher bn c1820 in MD who ended up in KY. So far, I've never had a contact for this family. The results we're receiving lately are opening up more and more possibilities for matches, particularly for those of you with Unc Hatchers. The special sale for $119 on the 37 marker test will continue thru Sept 30th. If you're still vacillating, pondering, considering, procrastinating, don't wait too long! Contact me if you have questions and I'll be happy to work with you.
