He was a member of the VFW. He was a member of the Eagleton Village Baptist Church. Preceded in death by son, Darrell Lynn Hatcher; brothers, Martin Hatcher, Carter Hatcher, Benton Hatcher; sisters, Sarah Hatcher, Eula Hatcher, Margie Hatcher, Sophia Hatcher, Lorena Flynn. Survivors include wife, Grace Elizabeth Hatcher; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Marie Hatcher, Ronald and Mary Hatcher; granddaughters, Christine Hatcher, Mary and husband Timothy Boutin, Rosanne (Anne Pientok) Hatcher, Robin and husband Scott Bruhn; great-grandchildren, Victoria Boutin, Christopher Boutin, Ella Grace Bruhn; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday Sept. 17, 2008, at Eagleton Village Baptist Church, Rev. Gerald Smelcher officiating. Interment service to follow at Clarks Grove Cemetery.
