Mrs. West was born in Forsyth County, N.C. on June 19, 1936, to Jesse James Hatcher and Leona Virginia Farley Hatcher. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Junior West on March 19, 2007; brothers, Lacy Hatcher, Edward Hatcher, Kenneth Hatcher and, twin brothers, John Hatcher and Albert Ackers. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Sloop officiating. Burial will follow in Byerly Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of son Darrell West, located at 142 Archie Lane in Lexington.
