He was a member of Armona Baptist Church, retired from ALCOA, and a member of the 25 year club. Preceded in death by parents, Beecher and Vella Dixon Hatcher; and brothers, Elmer C. Hatcher and Wrev Austin Hatcher. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Frankie Woody of Maryville; grandchildren, Susan and Megan Woody, both of Maryville; niece, Missy Hatcher of Maryville; aunt and uncle, Unav and Raymond Chapman of Alcoa; several cousins and many friends. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 11, 2008, at Centenary Baptist Church Cemetery for the graveside service and interment, Rev. Bob Lawson and Rev. Bill Dixon officiating.
