She was formerly of Hurricane, and graduated from Hurricane High School with the Class of 2001. She was the loving mother of her son, Camren, and daughter, Brooklyn. Also surviving are her husband, Elmo Russell; mom, Jill Hatcher of St. Albans; father, Richard Hatcher of St. Albans; brothers, C. J. Pifer of Hurricane and Mike Pifer of Tennessee; sisters, Samantha Hatcher, Kasandra Hatcher and Leslie Russell, all of St. Albans, Iona Wilson and Heather Lewis, both of Hurricane; grandparents, Calvin and Maxine Hudson and Stanley and Nancy Robinson, all of St. Albans; mother, Patricia Wilson of Kentucky. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Sonny Sovine officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service time on Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 2837 Main St., Hurricane. Kris could make any situation better than it could be.
