No, we do not match each other.....BUT! There were 2 Richard Thatchers and I have found them both in the early PA records. We have Richard of BucksCo, sons Joseph, Bart, Amos. We also have Richard of ChesterCo with at least son, Jonathan. We also have plenty of Thatcher theories about Joseph Thatcher becoming Joseph Hatcher (remember the 1726 Wm Hatcher deed). And supposedly it is Joseph Hatcher in the 1724 Tax list. Sooo....who tested for the Thatchers and which Richard do they belong to? Do both Richards match each other? Has anyone tested from Joseph's line? All I can say for sure is that I see no connection at all to Richard of Bucks who was clearly Quaker. I think we're probably in agreement now that our Wm was not Quaker when he arrived but joined c1754. I do not know if Richard of Chester was a Quaker. Ain't this fun?? :-) Nel
