BURGESS Faye Hatcher Burgess, 84, of Laurel Fork, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Burgess; and parents, Clearenee and Laura Hatcher. Surviving are one daughter, Charliene Belcher; one son, Donnie Hatcher; two grandsons; one granddaughter; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; one sister, Maidelle Hatcher; two brothers, Junior Hatcher and Bert Hatcher; and five nephews. A graveside service was held Saturday at Jacksonville Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph Duncan officiating. Arrangements were by Maberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
