HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood Good morning, Y'all Is there anyone with a world subscription to Ancestry that can do an England census lookup for me?? Tank!! Nel
I don't know if you found anyone for the UK connection or not, but since my wife is from England and interested in doing some research she might be interested in getting one. [Funny, I think that Wm. came from the same area that she did...] She also said that most of the people in the UK who get the most done are the ones who go to the different churches, etc. and look up personally what they need. They had to do that when they were researching the Beaufort, [also Beaufoy, Beaufeau, Beaufeu etal]. They came over from France sometime around who? uh Norman the Conqueror or someone like that. She isn't here or I would ask her. Funny enough on her father's side whose name was Irven descended from the royal family. His grandfather was adopted and got the name because he was dropped at an orphanage by the river of the same name. They tried with an attorney to get his records and found that they were sealed for 100 years. Even after that they have not been successful. the only ones, normally, whose records are like this or for the royals. That one will be a dead end I am sure for awhile unless someone knows something that we don't?? Sincerely, Tony
