Mrs. Wallace was born in Percy, Ill., and lived in Springfield and Osceola in Missouri before she moved to this area 12 years ago. She was a landscape painter. She was a Methodist. She attended McPherson (Kan.) College and Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa. Her husband, James Ellison Wallace, died in 1980. Survivors include a son, John S. Wallace, Belton; a daughter, Ardith M. Fetterolf, Kansas City; three sisters, Dorothea Dawson, Colorado Springs, Colo., Cora Bruce, Fountain Valley, Calif., and Florence Brereton, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------- Researched in 2001 for my personal Hatcher files.
