HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood Folks, In working out a plan of attack, I also considered using professional researchers and stumbled across the fact that Brent Holcomb, author of dozens of SC geney books, still provides hands-on research. My thinking was that he might be able to provide us with a list of Hatcher recs he's found, simply by going thru his books (indexed, I assume). This list could then be used to eliminate those recs we already have, leaving us with a "hot list" to pursue further. I've written to him to see if he would consider us as a "client." It would seem, no matter what he charges, that this route might, in the long run, be cheaper than flayling around in the dark with me trying to guess which files/films, etc should be searched. I would think he would also know exactly "where" to find certain records, again eliminating the "guess" technique. I'll let you know what he says. Nel
