    3. Nell Thanks for the rationale Richard and Geraldine are found in 1900 residing in Callahan co. Texas Pct 8 household 12/12 page 1A he is listed as Reba in most online indexes Lynn ----- Original Message ----- From: "nelhatch" <nelhatch@hills.net> To: <hatcher@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 13, 2008 1:01 AM Subject: Re: [HATCHER] It's been a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time....... > > HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com > HALL DNA project: > http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm > "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D > Greenwood > > Lynn, > > You're only looking at one of Guy's censi. I see that Navarro and Freestone are adjacent counties. But I've yet to find Callahan Co. Seems his family moved to Callahan pre-1900 while Guy hopped over into NavarroCo and found himself a job and place to live. Then the family returned, not to Freestone but to Navarro where Richard died 1906. Nel

    2. Callahan County is located in west Texas. If you travel west on Interstate 20, you will pass through Callahan County just before you get to Abilene, Texas. I personally never heard of it either, but dug out my trusty map. It is a good distance from Navarro and Freestone Counties. I live in Limestone County which adjoins Freestone County and Navarro.
