Nel, Her maiden name was Walker. She was the daughter of John Jack Walker and Sabra Clements. I don't know which Walker she married but I'm sure it was a cousin. It's a puzzle for sure but I love a puzzle! HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood Beth, Can you tell me how you know that Sabra was the dau of John and Sabra Walker? My reason for asking is that we have Sabra Jane Hatcher, bn c1844 (exactly the age of Sabra in the 1900 census) who md Ansel Walker in 1868 LevyCo (record can be found on the LevyCo, FL Genweb site). He was 35 yrs older than she. They can be found in the 1880 PolkCo census. His first wife was Molsey Hatcher, sis of Sabra. All can be found on our site. Still don't know who John Hatcher in the 1900 is but he's obviously connected to this LevyCo family of Hatchers....... Nel
Nel, I can't tell you because it was just a leap I was jumping for. Joseph Walker Sabras cousin was living in Polk County and was living just above this Sabra Jane Walker according to the census. I have my Sabra Jane being born later on than this Sabra but seeing as how census takers made so many mistakes I was just hoping this was my Sabra but now I see its not. Do you know anything about the Walkers living in Polk County? Thank you for your time and help.
