    3. Nel, I was thinking the same thing. Its what the 1900 Polk County Census says but they give his age as 27. So yes it was the census taker's mistake. Its supposed to say 1873!!!! On the same census it lists Sabra J. Walker as John Hatchers aunt. I'm related to her and I would love to know who these Hatchers are! I'm not finding any of them, including Sabra, in the 1910 and I don't find Arthur on the 1917 WWI Draft Reg either. What was Sabra's maiden name?
