    1. [HATCHER] Henry Hatcher
    2. William W. Hatcher Sr.
    3. Another item for some clarification, Henry Hatcher's estate sale was in Twiggs county, not Bibb county. The key was Dempsey's presence at the 1826 estate sale in BibbCo, GA. The record I have on file: Film # 8212: Bibb County Estate Returns, Bk. A ( 1823-1837); Bk B (1837 - 1844): P. 9-10: Appraisal and Inventory of the estate of Henry Hatcher; John Hatcher and Bethiah Hatcher, administrators; Appraisal done by Hardy Harrell, John Bridger, John Read, June 23, 1823. (Note: Other Henry Hatcher estate records on pages 24, 26, & 27.) Pages 26 and 27 include an inventory and sale of Henry Hatcher's personal property. Some of the purchasers were: John Hatcher; Nancy Hill; Bethiar Hatcher, Fletcher Harp; William Simmons; Penelope Silivan; Fletcher A. Tharp; Vincent A. Tharp; Levi Jones; Amos Horton; Cherneck A. Tharp. (Note: I examined carefully the Harp and the Tharp and the first Fletcher was "Harp", but it may have been and error in spelling.) The sale was signed by John Hatcher, admr and Bethiah Hatcher, admrx, and dated March 1, 1824. p. 40: At the home of Vincent A. Tharp in Twiggs County on 24th day of June next will be sold - All personal estate of Henry Hatcher, late of BIBB COUNTY. Terms made known on day of sale. John & Dathier, Admrx. From The "Messenger", Fort Hawkins, issue May 10, 1823. (Note: Dathier should be Bethia/Bethier, right?) ______________ Now I do not see a Dempsey Hatcher listed, where did you find this? William W.
