The following msg was sent to the Library of VA email list where reside many of the most experienced and/or professional researchers. It "takes a village" and each and every one of you "villagers" who have contributed over the years deserve to pat yourself on the back :-) Nel ------------------ Dear Nel Hatcher - Thank you for the link to the Hatcher Family site http://hatcherfamilyassn.com and the connection between Jameston Hatcher and John Milam of Chesterfield County, VA. With your permission, I did copy your notes and will look up the court records they refer to. I was interested to learn that there was a Samuel Milam in the county too. Yours is an excellent family history website - so well organized - probably the best I have seen. And it is searchable! Best regards,,,William Milam
