    3. Aw shucks, a timeline could be most beneficial if you really want to air all the possibilities based on times and locations for this family! I was hoping you could do us one and we could add anything we might have on file to either make some since of what you feel is correct or raise some questions that need to be addressed. Unfortunately I too do not have the time either right now as I have to work for a living every day and I just got 10 pages of Akins records sent to me to go through. I am sure you Nel can understand? But I would like to keep this discussion going to make sure we have not overlooked something. William W. HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood W W, Everyone in this picture has their timeline on their page. What you won't find is John with any connection to Tom (as you said, he was long gone and an adult before we pick him up in records). But I'll remind everyone of a trick to use on our site. You will often see the little magnifying glass at the end of a data field, such as birthplace. Find someone in this family born in WarrenCo, GA? Click the glass icon and you will see a list of everyone born in Warren. You can then select those born in your timeframe for further review. This list is NOT limited to the tree you're in but will pull people from all files. I'm already working on 2 other projects - Ebenezer (possible son of Edward of Pendleton) and a William who I've also found in BibbCo in the 1820s. Both of these are Unc families. I strongly suspect this Wm must be connected to Tom's family....just a matter of finding where. Wm's been DNA tested so we know he's an Im descendant. So I have no time to build a timeline on Tom et al, but anyone who wants to do so - go fer it!! Timelines are a very useful tool and I build them all the time. HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood W W, In addition to Eben and Wm to work on, I just rec'd 44 deed images (some multiple pages) that need to be processed, and I still have some of Vanessa's records undone, along with a pile of other work that's sitting here. I also don't really feel that creating a timeline for this entire family (and I don't believe you realize how much time that would take) would be all that useful based on your stated use of it....."and we could add anything we might have on file....." Anyone who has records on this family doesn't need a timeline to go into our file and check to see if we have their records already online. People send me their records all the time and they are my main source. Now if someone has an important record to contribute, they either have already done so or they don't realize they have it. I also feel that anyone who is really interested has already been all over our file. In fact, I know so. The number of people checking Tom and John (from the Access Log) has really picked up speed in the past few days. So the word is getting around. I'm sure anyone with questions will start bouncing them off me if they have any. As far as "making sense of it", some will make sense of it and some won't. And those who have questions are always free to ask them. I ain't shy :-) Nel
