Hatcher,of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at the age of 51. Mrs. Hatcher was born on December 8, 1953, the daughter of William and Lois McCoy, and granddaughter, of Mary Stephenson Mead. She attended West Virginia Wesleyan College. She is survived by her husband, Joe Hatcher; son, Joseph Hatcher; brother, Robert McCoy; sisters, Vicki Sherouse and Marie Thienel; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Epworth United Methodist Church, 6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2005 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center- Broad Ripple, and additional calling will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. before the service at the church. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery on Monday, September 26, 2005 at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to either, Epworth United Methodist Church or to the American Diabetes Association.
