Hello, This is my first posting to the Hatcher mailing list. My name is Daniel Rolph. I believe that my 4th great grandfather is Henry Hatcher (b. 1755). Henry Hatcher - Jeremiah - Creed H - Conrad W - James T (my grandfather) I was wondering if there are any descendants/researchers who have worked on the line from Henry. I am a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and would like to work on a supplemental through Henry. Has anyone on this mailing list proved patriotic service and relationship to Henry? Thank you very much for any guidance that you can provide. I am very excited to work on my Hatcher lineage. Your grandfather is James Turner Hatcher. I'm not an expert on what's required for the various societies but you are free to use any of the documentation (census, marriage refs, etc) for your application. I also believe we have sufficient proof from James T back to Henry. And there's no question Henry was an RW vet. It's possible our sources are not exactly what the societies want. They may require copies of the various records. But our sources should at least tell you where to go for copies. Nel
