Dr. Irsael Blake will officiate and interment will be at Peaceful Rest Cemetery. Pall bearers will be friends of the family. Mrs. Williams died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006. Born June 17, 1927, in Thomas County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Lucendy Wyche and a life-long resident of Thomasville. She was a homemaker and a member of Power and Glory Ministries. She was married to Sampson Williams Sr., who preceded her in death. Survivors include sons James Williams , Sampson Williams Jr., Tommy Williams, Arthur Williams, Larry Williams, Alvin Williams, Tommy Lenorris Williams; daughters Theresa Shockley, Evelyn Tayor, Brenda Alexander and Beryl Blake; grandchildren Jennifer McGee, Timothy Williams, James Williams, Melinda Sullivan, Kristie Alford, Eston King, Felicia Warren, Jonathan Warren, Cedric Williams, Lisa Farrell, Rosiland Mack, Samantha Williams, Roderick Bean, Tommy L. Williams, Morris Williams, Donna Powell, Aleria Davis, Trevena Williams, Arthur J. Williams, Quinton Williams, Monica Jenkins, Johnny Higdon Jr., Yvondria Kellogg, Tynisha Williams, Natasha Williams, Anissa Williams, LaToya Myers, Shineka King, Eboni Williams, Elsje Alexander, Sherri Alexander, Jeffery Alexander, Amber Copeland, Kandace Blake, Kamberlyn Blake, Jada Blake, Endia Hadley, Amelia Hadley, Kyley Hester, Jessica Williams and Tommy Nicholas Williams Jr.; 59 great-grandchildren; sisters Marie Williams, Mary Williams! and Crotel Lawyer; brothers James Wyche, Nathaniel Wyche and O'Neal Wyche. She was preceded in death by her son, Sam J. Williams. Visitation will be from noon until 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20.
