Hello Dave, sorry about that, at least I got the town right. The recall button between my ears doesn't work like it use to, but of course for an old gal can't expect too much. Forgot there are 3 areas here named Loveland and the town no where near the ski areas, only lived here a couple of years. Gosh, if I had known you were photographing the Loveland ski area I would have put on the ol' backpack, snowshoes and been there right. Being a little facetious. We lived in Leadville years ago, moved back to KS then back here. We have two sons and families living here and one son lives in the foot hills above Littleton I can think of no better place to retire. Around here we say Ft. Collins is a ways down the road. Need the road signs to know where they devide. I was photographing the Loveland ski area on Monday, a day before their 8" snow hit....and I didn't see you. Of course, NOW, I find out you are near Ft. Collins! Evelyn, Nice to hear from you. My daughter and family moved to Keystone several months ago, so I had to fly out last weekend (from St. Louis) to check out their new digs ....and purchase a season ski pass. As you know, Arapaho Basin and Loveland are the only Colorado ski areas open. So, on my way to the airport, I had to take some snow pix to show flatlander friends. Very beautiful country in Summit County. Almost hit a moose on the road near their house, and a family of red foxes comes each evening to my grand-childrens' bedroom window for a handout! I return Thanksgiving. Your area is beautiful, too. Having the mountains around Estes Park as your backdrop, can't be bad!
