Hey Miz Nelanie, Did you ever consider joining the FBI? You would have made a great agent! Hope all is well with you and Bruce. Both of our Henrys, the sons of Ben/Liz and Henry/Lound, are either still minors in 1690 or just barely 21. There have been no records found to indicate the estate of Henry/Lound contained any real estate. But we do know John Greenhaugh gave Ben's sons land while they were still minors c1675. From some of the records, it "appears" these deeds were not registered until 1696. IF this is true, it doesn't explain how it was known in 1690 that Henry owned this parcel of land. > > Maybe Henry, our Indian trader, was reported killed by Indians, his kids get a guardian and his wife remarries. But, wah-lah! He ain't dead! He escapes from his captors and returns (surprising a whole bunch of people) and settles on Proctors creek. Would make for a great soap opera, ya think?? > > It ain't over til it's over :-) > > Nel > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
