(Hatcher) Purley 01/09/1939 ~ 11/28/2009 OCEANSIDE -- Marilyn Purley of San Jacinto was called away to be with Our Lord on Saturday, November 28, 2009. A longtime resident of Oceanside, Calif., Marilyn moved to San Jacinto Valley about 20 years ago. She was an active member of Post 848 San Jacinto American Legion Women's Auxiliary and VFW. Marilyn is survived by her loving family: daughters, April (Steve) Hostetler, Robin (Richard) Green, and Valerie Stoffel; and son, Ronnie (Kathleen) Dillard; 11 grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; brothers, Richard Hatcher and John Hatcher; and her many loving and caring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Purley. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon, Monday, December 7, at the Riverside National Cemetery, Staging Area # 1, in Riverside. In lieu of lowers, donations may be made in Marilyn's name to American Legion Post 848 Women's Auxillary, 312 E. Main St., San Jacinto, Calif. 92583 (951-487-1664).
