    3. HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "One of the tragedies of life is the murder of a beautiful theory by a brutal gang of facts" - La Rochefoucauld I've been tossing around the various msgs on this subject and will fall back on my passive-aggressive definition. The Teri Hatcher idea I think of as passive on our part. If she were interested, it would be she and her agent who would be involved in the hard labor [aggressive] of door pounding and selling herself. We simply provide the data [passive] and get a little PR out of it. But there are many ways to PR one's self without the time and effort of door pounding. Something as simple, perhaps, as researching the right geney organizations to place an advertisement or an article for monthly or quarterly magazines/newsletters or online sites. This would be a passive effort to search out appropriate entities in one's spare time, accumulate a list, no door pounding involved, no selling one's self. A group discussion to sort out the best, do the appropriate write-up - article or ad - and send 'em a check. This certainly doesn't get you "national" exposure but it would more likely get the attention of the more serious and experienced researchers. And I think that would be a plus. So I toss this out for discussion............... Nel

    3. I think that sounds great! We could all start net surfing, see what we find, send it to you, and in like a month's time or so we could do the group vetting. It would be a great way to pool our resources and time since each state, region, city, etc. often has its own geney/ historical magazines, programs and the like.
