Bob, I'm still looking at Rakestraws. Found a William R. Rakestraw about?1830 or so but no William Zane. I was wondering if you know what your 3rd great grandfather's wife's name was? There are lots of John Hatchers but haven't found one that fits. If I find anything, I'll let you know.
