Hello friends, I believe there is someone on this list that was looking for Hatcher research in Dallas County, AL this past week. I have tried to reply to her inquiry without success. I am Sue Dixey, a Hatcher researcher, however I have done extensive research in the Dallas and surrounding county areas of AL and perhaps I might be of help to this person. I seem to recall the name Loretta or something similar. It appears I have since deleted her specific message so am posting here in hopes she sees this. If interested in my help, please contact me offline. I am out of state traveling on vacation with limited internet access in case you contact me soon and my response is slow. Or perhaps if someone knows or can direct Loretta to my email, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Sue Dixey sodixey@hotmail.com -------------------------------------------------- From: <hatcher-request@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, August 16, 2008 2:12 AM To: <hatcher@rootsweb.com> Subject: HATCHER Digest, Vol 3, Issue 298 > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood Hey Y'all, Now that we've got 37m tests for all of our Im testers, I've found it much easier to create "line" charts for our testers. I've created 2 of these charts for those testers descending from Wm/Anne Burton thru sons Wm/Obed and Jameston/Knibb. Looking at these charts, I think (and hope) they will make it easier for everyone to understand how the mutations work. I'm done for the day on these charts but can't say that they are finished or complete. I would appreciate it if you testers would take a look at them and ask questions for those things you don't understand. Your questions may form the basis for additional work on these charts. You can go directly to the page at http://hatcherfamilyassn.com/DChartWm.htm or you can get to this page from http://hatcherfamilyassn.com/DNAWork.htm using the "charts" link in Section 1. Let me hear those questions....... Nel
HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "If you can't stand the skeletons, stay out of the closet" - Val D Greenwood Cuzins, I've now got all of today's results uploaded, sorted, rearranged, yada, yada, yada! See them here http://hatcherfamilyassn.com/DNAWork.htm We have scored a few points by expanding these tests. We now have at least 1 tester from each of Wm's sons who all match each other. What this means is that mutations could only have begun with the grandsons of William. That may not sound important but it tightens everything up by 2 gens. It's also very noticeable that we have very few testers from Ben. Even Henry with only 1 son has more testers than Ben and that's not good :-( I have a few ideas on some chart work with the goal of finding where various mutations may have occurred and possibly finding more testers from untested lines to fill the gaps and test out any known mutations. We are also waiting for results from 2 more testers in the expanded group. Nel
