    3. Thank you Nel, for resending message. Leonard, welcome to the Hatcher family web page. Because of Nel's efforts the efforts of other family members this is fantastic family history site. I would venture to say, one of the best. My husband and you are in the same John/Eve lineage. Your great great grandfather Wiley Blunt Hatcher and John R Hatcher were brothers. John R Hatcher was my husbands (Jack) great grandfather. His grandfather was Perry Charles and his father was John William Hatcher. We have found through DNA results and Nels and others tireless efforts that this line has some issues. Documents prove the lineage of the Hatcher line, yet DNA doesn't match all the other Hatchers. So this line is kind of up in the AIR. Unless new information has come available, this was the result a couple of years ago. Any information that you can forward to Nel and the group that you may have, would be helpful. I have given Nel all the Hatcher information that I had on this side of the family and its now available to anyone on this Hatcher family site. You'll have fun going through all the information that Nel and everyone has put together. Glad you found us....smile....and welcome to family web page. Very beautiful country in Summit County.  Almost hit a moose on the road near their house, and a family of red foxes comes each evening to my grand-childrens' bedroom window for a handout!   I return Thanksgiving. Your area is beautiful, too.  Having the mountains around Estes Park as your backdrop, can't be bad! Forgot there are 3 areas here named Loveland and the town no where near the ski areas, only lived here a couple of years.  Gosh, if I had known you were photographing the Loveland ski area I would have put on the ol' backpack, snowshoes and been there right.  Being a little facetious.  We lived in Leadville years ago, moved back to KS then back here. We have two sons and families living here and one son lives in the foot hills above Littleton   I can think of no better place to retire. Around here we say Ft. Collins is a ways down the road.  Need the road signs to know where they devide. HATCHER website: http://hatcherfamilyassn.com HALL DNA project: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/hall/HDNAtest.htm "One of the tragedies of life is the murder of a beautiful theory by a brutal gang of facts" - La Rochefoucauld Folks, I am looking for someone to take over as List Administrator for the Hatcher email list. It is a minimum effort job that averages out to about 15 minutes a week. The responsibilities are as follows: 1) Assist people in subbing and unsubbing from the list (occasional). 2) Bounced msgs - Delete spam msgs or accept "good" msgs on a daily or weekly schedule. You will receive notice of these bounces daily. 3) Break up "flame" conversations in a tactful manner (rare - we've had only 3-4 in 13 yrs). 4) Know when to end our "sillier" discussions (occasional) Rootsweb has in-depth instruction and help boards plus a list-admin email list for you to use should you need them or if I'm not around. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks!! Nel
