And it may be a week before I can get the problems fixed. So if some things don't seem to be getting done in a "reasonable" time, have patience. I'll get there......... Nel

And I've not even finished adding elf Tim's last bunch.... Take a bow, elves!! Nel
I was just looking at the Cemeteries listed on the website and the pictures of the headstones. What a great job Nel has done in adding these and also Timothy Hites and others for taking the pictures and providing them to all of us. Thanks so much. Shirley

Have you seen the entry for this Anthony Hatcher on the Hatcher Family Association web site? It doesn't list his parents, but gives some more possible information. http://hatcherfamilyassn.com/getperson.php?personID=I34&tree=UncHat On Tue, Feb 9, 2010 at 4:14 PM, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > can anyone help me, I do not have the 'world edition' and i am looking for gr, gr, gr gr grandfather, Anthony Hatcher, he was born in Italy in 1830 and Married Marie Purcell. There is also a link for each image that can be sent. Same as I sent yesterday Nel for that long Hatcher article. Link is at the top of each image. Well Nel I'm glad I decided to take the Ohio papers, only 30 to search. I had only 2 hatcheries. But I had 1 hatchet, 2 butchers, and two stream crafts. One was named Andy Hatcher, sunk on the Ohio River. And the other was Mary L Hatcher, and she banked at Pomeroy Ohio. Found an article about Prof. John Bell Hatcher (our Smithsonian Hatcher). Marietta Daily Leader, dated Dec. 1898. In the Akron Daily Dem., dated Jan. 20, 1990, states. Martha Hatcher - Cumberland Courthouse Va. Jan. 20. Richard Carter, colored 10 years old, was hanged here for attempting to commit a criminal assault on Martha Hatcher, a 6 year old colored child. That is sad. Also found several business with the Hatcher name. Going to search another state. Thanks for the web site, Nel Judy Bowen

Nel, I checked the Fort Bend Herald and no Obit for Robert Hatcher, so I called Garmany & Carden Funeral Home. The Guy I talked to, said he wasn't supposed to share any information unless I was family, but it wouldn't hurt to tell me he was Wiley Hatcher of Richmond's brother. He said the family had not decided on a memorial date. Also that he may be cremated. Whitepages.com gives this Info: Wiley H Hatcher 74 Years Old Nathaniel Hatcher 29 Years Old 6140 Fm 723 Rd (Million + houses in that area) Richmond, TX 77406-9751 I Googled Wiley Hatcher, Houston, TX and if he is one and the same, he is founder of: Southern Miss Marketing & PR Foundation, The Madison Foundation, Beginning Bioethics, Engineering and Construction Services - Pipeline & Gas Journal...etc In one document It Stated: Hatcher, the man behind the Madison Foundation, is a Mississippi native who lived in Port Gibson for more than 25 years before relocating to Houston. It was there that he developed a pipeline engineering company, which he recently sold. The proceeds from the sale are funding his charitable foundation. (But nothing on Robert J Hatcher) BB
