Is an alternative to the Hatcher email list at Rootsweb being set up, or is the i/o group set up by Rena Worthen meant to replace this list? I haven't seem any discussion, although I may have missed out on it. Only five people have signed up for the i/o group. I hate to see this group die out. Donna White-Dropkin

William Watson and Wilson Hatcher: My mother, Annetta Hatcher White's DNA is uploaded at Gedmatch; she passed away last summer. I just relabeled her Gedmatch kit to reflect her full name, and it is kit T591244. We are descendants of John/Eve Hatcher. My grandfather was Lee Roy Hatcher, then William Spencer Hatcher, John F. Hatcher, John R. Hatcher and John Hatcher/Eve Morris in Washington Co. TN. My DNA is at Gedmatch also, kit A267261. Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb. As an alternative to RootsWeb Mailing Lists, Ancestry message boards are a great option to network with others in the genealogy community.
