I have some interesting name connections here -- I'm searching for the parents of John HARVEY b.c. 1750. In his pension file is a letter claiming that his son GEORGE HARVEY said his father (John) was born in South Carolina! My John HARVEY served in the PA Line during the revolution and moved to Maine about 1789 where he died in 1838. He married Lucy Knowlton of Northport, ME and their children were GEORGE (b.c. 1792), JOHN, NANCY, JOSEPH, JANE (probably named for wife's grandmother Jane Rodgers) AND LUCINDA. (probably named for wife Lucy Knowlton). The son, George Harvey also went on to have a son named James! I have done some research on Harvey's in SC and am not familiar with this George and Nancy Harvey. I would be most interested if you discover any connection to my family tree.
