I am looking for information on John W. HARVEY. He married Caroline SULLIVAN on April 1, 1860 in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. I don't know anything about John W.'s parents or siblings. Caroline's parents were Thomas and Paulina Sullivan of Jefferson Co., Illinois ( Spring Garden ). I did find Caroline HARVEY in the 1870 Illinois Census living with her parents. She had two children, John Thomas HARVEY and Mary HARVEY. She must have been widowed...could John W. HARVEY be a casualty of the Civil War ?? I did find three John W. HARVEYS in the IL Civil War list. Any suggestions as to how to proceed ? Thanks. Janis Foley [email protected]
