JoAnn, Thanks for writing, and visiting, The Harvey Genealogist. I'm always happy to hear from a new Harvey Researcher. No, as I mentioned in my post to Pat, I never tried to PROMOTE THG on the list. I didn't feel it was necessary, when the site is so widely linked to on the net. The Harvey Surname Association is not a off-shoot of the Guild for One-Name Studies in London. As far as I know, the Guild does not actually sponser associations, although their Members most certainly are involved in the Family Organizations associated with their particulair One-Name study. I am a member of the Association of One-Named Studies. This is the North American Equivelent (albeit, without the venerable history of England's Guild).
