Nona, Thanks for writing about Kinchen Smith Harvey, who married Nancy McClain in 1819 in Greene Co. TN. I checked the indexes of both "The Tie That Binds" (Landreth/Smith) and "Harvey Connection" (Dawson) and found no reference to a Kinchen Smith Harvey or Nancy McClain, or any Kinchens. The Dawson book covers Harveys which migrated from VA & NC into TN, mostly into Dickson County TN. These include the line of the many Onesiphorus Harveys, as well as the Harvey line of Country/Western Artist Lori Morgan. I'm sorry that I could not respond with more postive results!
